Spring + Summer Trends!

Hey Queens,

The cars are covered in pollen, the allergies are activated, and the weather is unpredictable. It is officially spring (lol). I don’t know about you, but I want to at least look cute through all the chaos! So in true HighLowLuxxe fashion, check out my 2023 Spring/Summer trends below:

  1. Foil Metallics

    • Foil metallics have been taking over the scene since the top of the year and pays homage to one of my favorite fashion eras: the late 90s and early 2000s! Between the futuristic chrome colors and the various foil-like textures and fabrics, metallics are definitely IN this season. The right metallic piece, whether a leather jacket, over-the-knee boots, or eye-catching bag, can truly add that “casual but extra” feel to any outfit.

  2. Relaxed Denim

    • Relaxed denim is the “it” girl this season! This style can come in many shapes, sizes, and forms: cargo pants, distressed skirts, asymmetrical maxis and more! You want to ensure your denim is fitted on the waist and relaxed on/throughout the leg. Although relaxed denim isn’t as casual as your typical cargo-style piece, it still mimics the silhouette of a trouser. This baggy alternative can be perfectly paired with heels, and also falls nicely over sneakers and flat sandals. Not to mention, denim bags are also super trendy this season. If you’re looking for new denim to incorporate into your spring wardrobe, this is it!

  3. Maxi Dressing

    • The maxi is having a moment this year! The fashion focus has shifted to the always practical and forever versatile maxi skirt or dress. I personally love a good maxi because you can easily dress it up or down depending on the occasion. I love how this trend isn’t necessarily confined to just one aesthetic. Whether your personal style is more minimalist, casual, or even glam, the maxi skirt offers a little something for everyone!  Maxi’s are also the perfect layering tool, which makes it a good go-to for spring because the weather can be so unpredictable.

4. Biker Jackers & Motor Style

  • This trend pays homage to the undeniable early 2000s fashion era. Biker and moto jackets, in a more relaxed fit and style, are a good go-to trend for this spring season. Instead of a classic trench or tailored blazer, try incorporating a cropped Moto-style jacket. They can really offer that effortlessly cool look and feel to any outfit. Again, also super convenient for those spring days where the weather is all over the place.

    5. 3D Florals and Rosettes

  • Designers are bringing their fashions to life this year with this bold, new innovative trend of 3D florals and I couldn’t be more excited! Think less in the traditional sense of your ‘normal’ decorative floral prints, and think more of abstract florals with texture, dimension, and depth. From a cute choker necklace, to a multidimensional blouse, the right 3D floral piece can really elevate your fit and add a fun, unique flare.  Rosettes are back in style and are here to stay this spring! You might remember them from their heyday during Season 3 of Sex and the City. Rosettes are a super cute and versatile accessory, and they offer a fun way to add a little glamor to an everyday look. Pin them on a blazer, a classic button up shirt, or wear one on a choker/ necklace to add a little drama to the neckline.
