5 Wardrobe Staples You Need This Fall!

It’s that time of the year where the days are getting shorter and the mornings are getting cooler. Leaves are starting to litter the ground and we’re about a week away from pulling out the trench coats and leather jackers as permanent fixtures in our wardrobes. I don’t know about you, but I personally LOVE fall; mainly for the fashions! There’s a bit more complexity you can create with layering pieces and styler outerwear. So in true fashion, this week’s blog post is all about fall fashions! Check out my 5 wardrobe staples that you’ll to stay stylish this season.
Structured Blazer/Tailored Suit:
If you know me, then you know I’m a sucker for a structured blazer and a tailored suit all around! Fall season is the perfect time to invest in a quality blazer that you can style up, or down with matching trousers or a mini skirt, denim and knee-high boots. I prefer blazers that have defined shoulder pads for a more high-fashion, chic look. 2. Leather or Tweed Jacket:
Up next is the classic leather jacket! What would a fall wardrobe be without it!? A quality leather jacket is an absolute must have for anybody looking to elevate their fall wardrobe. Shopbop, Nordstroms, and H&M have really great, affordable leather jackets. As a self-proclaimed fashion expert, it’s a must that I mention this seasons’ hottest trend: tweed jackets! I have a couple of tweed jackets and I must say, I understand the hype. They’re super stylish, have that classic tailored look, but also add a bit of texture to make an outfit more interesting. 3. Medium to Dark-Wash Denim:
Another go-to essential for your fall wardrobe is a classic pair of medium to dark-wash denim! This staple doesn’t need much of an explanation, because a good pair of denim can instantly elevate your outfit! 4. Staple Boots & Loafers:
Nothing says fall season more than a good pair of leather boots or stylish loafers! I must say, my Prada Combat boots are one. of my go-to’s during the fall and winter seasons. I love how versatile they are and I’ve most certainly gotten my cost per wear’s worth!

5. Basic Tees & Shirts for Layering:
Last but not least, basic tees and base layer tops are a must have when dressing fashionably for ANY season! Whether its a super simple basic tee (H&M and Massimo Dutti have great quality tees), or a more fancier top, such as a corset or blouse, these shirts make for the perfect top when layering and styling an outfit.
