15 Beauty Products I Can't Put Down
Welcome back Queens, I have been testing out a ton of beauty products this summer (so you don’t have to,lol) and I’m sharing the 15 beauty products that I can’t put down. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of them or if you have any new suggestions for me!
Sonia Kashuk Brush set & Sponges:
I have always loved this Target line, but they recently expanded their makeup tools selection and they have everything you need. I picked up the 5-piece brush set a few months ago and a few brushes have become favorites. Now they aren’t drugstore prices because this is considered a designer brand for Target, but you get your money’s worth. I also love their make up sponges , they are the only sponges I use now!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you know that YouTube queen Jackie Aina recently collaborated with Anastasia Beverly Hills to create her own limited-edition palette. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks, and I swear it has everything you need to create a variety of looks. I naturally gravitated towards the pinks and reds in the palette but for a more toned down look the palette has the perfect brown and tan shades. I have noticed that when you first look at the palette it can be hard to imagine multiple looks because of the layout so I suggest really thinking about the look you want to create and figuring out where you would place each color before starting your eye look.
So, I was a bit skeptical about this product when it was sent to me, but I have a quarter of a bottle left and I can happily share that it is one of my daily essentials. As someone with dry skin I am always searching for just a bit more moisture and this has been the perfect addition. I basically drench my face in it right after washing and before any other product. The smell is refreshing and the amount of mist that comes out is perfect. I find that I don’t have to put moisturizer on immediately or at all if I’m not wearing makeup and I don’t get that dry tight feeling that usually comes after washing my face (eczema problems)
I have tried lots of concealers and for a while I just thought they all creased and looked cakey until I met NARS radiant creamy concealer. It is so natural but gives the perfect amount of coverage in my opinion, the shade range is phenomenal. I use shades Amande for brightness and Hazelnut for coverage and they blend to perfection, pro tip: let the concealer dry down and bit and blend out with a moist sponge.
This palette was an impulse purchase and it has quickly become a staple item in my makeup routine, it has two options for contour shades (I use both for different parts of my face) and the most flattering highlight shades. What I love most is that the highlight shades aren’t too glittery and there is a shade to go with every makeup look.
It’s just a gorgeous nude, there is not much to say but I love it! I prefer a more pinky nude and this one is it. I usually pair this with a brown liner for the perfect blend for my skin tone.
The super start system was sent to me a few months ago and I have been loving the skin booster, it is defined as a skin prep to boost other products used after applying. I apply it directly after spraying my face with the Olay mist and it makes my skin feel like silk and creates an amazing base for my makeup application.
I have been using both Benefit eyebrow pencils throughout the summer, I made the switch from NYX products because I really wanted something that would hold up in the summer heat and last on my vacations, and these products did just that. I use the thicker pencil to shade in my brows and I use the definer to define the shape of my brows. The products last all day and look natural, my two favorite things!
This has been a constant in my skincare regime, but I tried out a few new products over the summer and they could not compete with this eye cream. This eye cream is the perfect amount of moisture and has faded my dark circles, a little goes a long way and it has officially topped every eye cream I’ve tried.
This is a new addition to my routine, but I love the gel formula (I usually hate this type of consistency but this one is different in a good way) I have seen a brightness in my face since using, like the eye cream. It soaks in quickly which is also a win for makeup application.
I have always heard people rave about these lashes and I literally picked them up 2 weeks ago and I am obsessed. I have been a hug fan of Lavaa lashes, but I always went back and forth between a super dramatic lash for taking pictures or a simple pair for everyday wear. The Lily lash in style Miami is the perfect middle ground, they are impactful enough to show up on pictures and video but also not too much for daily wear.
This is my HOLY GRAIL so I couldn’t leave it off the list, I have tried every chap stick on the market and if you love a good moisturizing product you will love this. It’s considered a lip mask for overnight use, but I use it throughout the day, and it is unmatched. It comes in 3 flavors; brown sugar is my personal favorite.
As a self-proclaimed night owl I was hesitant to try any form of sleep aid ( I don’t like the idea of being knocked out by a product) but I was fortunate enough to work on an Olly campaign a few months back and was able to try the product beforehand. This quickly became an essential for me and I re-purchase this product before it runs out because that’s how much I love it. I have a blog post on my experience and all the specifics but If you want to gently fall asleep and most importantly wake up refreshed give them a try!
This is another HOLY GRAIL product; I love a good oil and I’ve tried a good amount, and this is the only oil that I feel penetrates my skin and really hydrates. Other oils slide around and feel like they are sitting on top of my skin rather than sinking it and really working. This oil has improved the overall texture of my skin keeps it hydrated throughout the day or night.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out current beauty favorites, let me know below if any of these are your favorites!
